Referral Terms

These terms apply to the Makoto Collective referral programme. The programme is run by Makoto Collective Ltd, 65 Willow, Trimbleston, Goatstown, Dublin, D14 FX36, Ireland, company registration number 818005, hello@makotocollective.com. The referral links and codes are issued through Judge.me, the app we use for reviews and referrals.

How it works

After an order with us, you receive a personal referral link. Share it with friends. When a friend uses it for a first order that meets the conditions below, they get a discount on that order, and you get a credit for your next one.

What your friend gets

  • 15% off their first order with us.
  • The order must come to at least 65 euro, counted on the products and before delivery.
  • It is for new customers only: people who have not ordered from us before, with that email address or at that delivery address.
  • One per person and per household. It cannot be combined with another discount code.

What you get

  • A 10 euro code for your next order, sent by email once your friend's order has been dispatched.
  • Your code can be used on an order of at least 65 euro, counted on the products and before delivery, and cannot be combined with another discount code.
  • The code is valid for 12 months from the day we send it. There is no limit on how many friends you can refer.

What is not allowed

  • Referring yourself, another account of your own, or someone at your own address.
  • Publishing your link on coupon or deal websites, or using it in paid advertising, including adverts on searches for our name.
  • Creating accounts or orders only to earn codes.

If we find any of these, we may cancel the codes involved and the orders placed with them, and we will tell you why.

Other conditions

  • Codes have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred or sold.
  • If an order placed with a referral code is returned, the discount is not paid out again, and a referrer code already issued for it may be cancelled if it has not been used.
  • These terms do not affect your rights as a consumer, including your right to cancel an order within 14 days, set out in our Returns and Refunds Policy.
  • We may change these terms or end the programme by updating this page. Codes already issued stay valid until they expire.
  • These terms are governed by Irish law.

Your data

To run the programme we process your name, email address, your referral link and whether it led to an order. Judge.me processes this for us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and the rights you have.
